The first step

Welcome to the new way of resolving recurring ingrown toenails and involuted toenails. bracenfix™ is the best way to resolve and restore the natural alignment and growth of the nail. In an easy 6-step process, learn how to apply the product in just 5 minutes.

Steps to apply

  • Use a burr to roughen the nail plate (start at the proximal border working your way down distally.)

    This will enable the bracenfix™ Primer to adhere better.

  • Use an alcohol swab to remove remaining nail debris and residue.

  • Place 1 drop of the bracenfix™ Primer into the lid of the bottle. Use a cotton swab to apply the primer to the nail, spreading evenly.

  • Use the bracenfix™ LED Light to cure the bracenfix™ Primer. Position protective guard to shield your eyes from direct exposure. Advise your patient to look away or to close their eyes. Click the ‘ON’ button twice to turn on the light.

  • Apply bracenfix™ Strong onto the nail (at the proximal border). Work bracenfix™ Strong onto the nail, ensuring it does not touch the skins borders.

    Or

    Apply bracenfix™ Fluid (for softer/children’s nails). Ensure the nozzle is attached to the bracenfix™ Fluid tube.

    Apply bracenfix™ Fluid onto the nail (at the proximal border). Work bracenfix™ Fluid onto the nail, ensuring it does not touch the skins borders.

  • Use the bracenfix™ LED Light to cure the bracenfix™ Strong or Fluid. Position protective guard to shield your eyes from direct exposure. Advise your patient to look away or to close their eyes. Click the ‘ON’ button twice to turn on the light.

  • If the distal nail border is affected, apply distal correction to the affected side

    Apply the bracenfix™ Strong to the distal nail edge, and work it into the nail.

    Cure bracenfix™ Strong using the bracenfix™ LED Light.

    Use the bracenfix™ LED Light to cure bracenfix™ Strong, Click the ‘ON’ button twice to turn on the light, Position protective guard to shield from direct exposure.

  • After the completion of the treatment, bracenfix™ can be easily burred off or removed using clippers.

Tip 1:

Use your glove to gently smooth out bracenfix™ Strong to give it a smooth finish (and ensure there are no sharp edges).

Tip 2:

When applying bracenfix™ to distal aspect, ensure there is 2-3mm of product on the edge before curing.

Tip 3:

If the patient has one nail with both distal sides of the nail affected, apply bracenfix™ Strong and cure separately.

Apply bracenfix™ Strong to the medial distal nail, align the nail in the correct position, then cure bracenfix™ Strong using the bracenfix™ LED light. Once completed, repeat the process for the distal lateral nail edge.

Tip 4:

The bracenfix™ LED Light requires a full charge typically once every month. If used by multiple practitioners regularly, it may require a full charge weekly. When not using the bracenfix™ LED light, avoid continuous charging by not docking the bracenfix™ LED light in the charging dock.
